Ofc. Adrienne Quinn treated two of her Grange students to a tour of our Art Koch Training Facility and then to lunch! Adriana and Jayleen. Adriana earned the "ride-along" for good citizenship throughout this school year and got to bring Jayleen with her. Great job, Adriana! #fairfieldpolice

TRAFFIC SAFETY REMINDER: When you come to an intersection controlled by a signal and it is flashing red, you MUST treat the flashing signal as a stop sign. Flashing yellow means proceed with caution and be prepared to stop. Signals may be flashing for various reasons including construction, power outage, or because law enforcement is working an active crime or collision scene! Be aware of your surroundings and drive safely! #fairfieldpolice #fairfieldtraffic

Friendly reminder about when you can and cannot pass a school bus when it has red lights flashing. If the bus has flashing yellow lights, it is preparing to stop and turn on reds! Drive safely! #fairfieldpolice #fairfieldtrafficunit

One of our Anna Kyle parents rode her two sons to school on her cool bicycle today! She told us she was trying to avoid the traffic around the school. Her bike is cool! The boys sit on the bench in the back, with hand and foot rails! Thanks for saying Hello, @yosoychristinataylor and for being part of the solution! #AnnaKyle #FairfieldTrafficUnit

Today concluded three days of training for returning and new incoming Fairfield-Suisun Public Safety Academy Cadets. This training was facilitated by members of several law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Army, and medical staff from NorthBay Health Care and Kaiser Permanente. Law enforcement officers and deputies from all over Solano County (Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo, Solano Sheriff's Office, Solano County Probation, and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitaion), with local recruiter, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Adrian Reece, trained the Cadets in Drill and Ceremony, Customs and Courtesies, Uniform Standards, and Teamwork. Solano County Deputy Probation Officer Kendra Craver introduced the Cadets to Leadership Dimensions, a program she designed specifically for the Cadets at PSA. Kaiser and NorthBay teamed up to provide Stop the Bleed training to every Cadet, teaching them emergency first aid. NorthBay Healthcare also donated trauma packs with blood stopping supplies so that PSA now has one in every classroom! Huge THANK YOU to Evan Edminster (Kaiser) and Heather Venizio (NorthBay) for your time and dedication to our youth! The 9th graders got to attend Bite of Reality, a financial training program presented by San Francisco Police Credit Union, where they learned to plan and manage a personal budget. The Cadets are now prepared for their upcoming school year and we wish them luck and good health! @vacavillepolicedepartment @solanosheriffsoffice @Vallejo.police #solanocountyprobation @usarmy #FairfieldArmyRecruiting #CDCR @northbay_healthcare @kpthrive @PSA_eagles @SFPCU
