Lindsay lost her last fiancé Jonathan to acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) at the age of 33 after a week-long battle back in 2015. At such a dark place in her life, she chose to become a shining light to those around her and to live life to the very fullest, just as Jonathan would. It took some time to put a positive spin on things, to appreciate the memories they have together and cherish the impact he made on her life. In 2017, Lindsay was lucky to marry someone who was instrumental in helping her cope with the loss of Jon, his name is Brian (last image.) “It seems that sometimes the stars align and people are placed into your life just when you need them!” said Lindsay, “I feel incredibly fortunate to have 2 loves in my life!” Passionate about her efforts towards helping ending cancer, she directed funds to LLS in lieu of flowers from Jon’s passing and on her day-to-day, works for another cancer nonprofit.
