Can you guess who’s taller? 🙃

Don’t let a small closet keep you from being tidy. To create space, discard items that no longer spark joy. Well done, @brittaniborenleach!

Arrange accessories so the inside of your drawer looks like a showcase. Every time you open it, it will give you a thrill of delight. #mykonmari moment by @alanahosn.

Honored to be on the cover of @betterhomesandgardens. I’m sharing my at-home rituals, how tidying is a creative outlet for me and more. Link in profile – or pick up a copy! On U.S. newsstands next week. Photo by @justincoit.

Tidying is your chance to review beauty supplies item by item. Products that are old and suspect should be dealt with first. Thank you @jorea.journey for inspiring us with your #mykonmari bathroom moment!

Consider adding plants and a special corner for family photos in your living room. This sparks joy @nmbr.33!

I hear it all the time: “I’ve got little kids, and keeping our home tidy feels like a losing battle. Can you help?” Well, first, you must be forgiving of yourself. The joys of parenting transcend a perfectly neat home. Then try these four tactics...link in profile.

“The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up” is perfect for people looking for a fun introduction to the KonMari Method. Teenagers seem to love it, but it’s a great read for graphic novel lovers of all ages. Link in profile!

Wow, 2 Emmy nominations! I am deeply grateful to have been recognized by The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for “Tidying Up.” It brings me tremendous joy that the show has resonated – and inspired so many of you to put my tidying method into action! Thank you to Netflix, The Jackal Group – and everyone who worked on the show. I share this honor with you. #emmys

Folding fact: If you’ve been folding with just your fingertips, try applying your palm. Its warmth causes the fibers on the garment to stand up and pulls the cloth taut, like paper, making it easy to fold your clothes like origami. 🤓✋

mariekondo

@konmari.co put together a Discarding Guide with suggestions on where to donate items that no longer spark joy. Check the link in profile. Before and after photos by @moderncoveredwagon. 💪

The garage often becomes a dumping ground for old or unwanted items in the home. Before you begin organizing, take stock of what you have and decide what to hold on to. Because garages are quite large, I recommend installing storage solutions – such as hanging racks, shelving units, etc. Thanks for the inspo, @nicoleloit @neatmethod!

This KonMari’d linen closet is 🤯. Bravo @jennirobins!

As you move toward the right side of your closet, the length of your clothing should grow shorter, the material thinner and the color lighter.
