Nick’s is moving to West Adams & Western in 6 days! Blessed we got to connect with him today. 🥉🥉🥉 🎰 My friend Kimmy texted me today: It’s Prince’s bday today and he would be 61 (6+1=7), and today’s date is 6/7/2019 (6+7+2+0+1+9=25, and 2+5=7). 😀 In God’s 🤲🏾
I know there’s suffering in the world, some of us feel it more than others, some are numb, some were trained to not care about what doesn’t effect them. There’s plenty causes to tap into. What I’ve learned recently is starting with what you can control. From my perspective, things are moving faster and faster. Younger generations are being conditioned at this pace, they’re way more in touch with themselves, and find outlets to express what they’re feeling or to find relatability. 30-35 + We didn’t have that so we have to do the work of digging deep and letting go of our own traumas while balancing the traumas of the world that we see every day on our devices. We are stacking outrage, sadness, and grief of the worlds problems on top of our own, causing physical, mental, and spiritual blocks to our own peace. The world has never not been good vs evil, light vs dark, etc, and yes it’s good to be aware, but what if you could pick up the emotion of whatever is coming across your device today, connect with it, think of how you could change it, put that emotion back down, and more forward with the passion to change it vs carrying more emotional weight before you’ve released your own. Please remember that our darkness as HUMANS can drown us or give birth to equal light. It’s all perspective. There’s a burst of creativity of all forms that’s being born from this purge period, I’m just excited to be front row, uplifting, encouraging, leading, serving, and nurturing this next generation of super talented, socially conscious, beautiful beings. @weleh_ca my fellow ♉️ lets me play dress up with his 🎨 one of one pieces. Here are some 🔥 pants he created that are available for purchase. Check our his profile and DM him if interested.
Sitting in my Dad’s car I learned how to drive in with his older brother, my Uncle Nick. I rarely acknowledge or celebrate him because he’s a part of me that I identify as “dark”. My uncle was addicted to cocaine and heroin the entire time I knew him until he overdosed when I was in my teens. I remember coming home from school at 6 and he would be paranoid, sweating bullets, asking if I locked the door downstairs. He sold my bike, my violin, and other things to get high. As soon as I was old enough I moved far away from this side of my family, thinking that would make it go away, but it didn’t. It popped back up by way of my cousin Manolito, who overdosed trying to self medicate himself off heroin at 21. He was my only boy cousin, the one I had most in common with, I watched him fight those demons as we lay in bed together. He used to tell me in boxing that he would imagine the guys he was fighting were the ones that made his father gay. I ran away from him too, I wasn’t strong enough to balance the energy, still stuck in my own darkness. I wanted to share just a small part of the extreme darkness that created the light you get to experience now. I only now started to really get that those dark things I survived were creating these pieces of heaven I get to experience more and more frequently. In between the bliss, darknesses keeps resurfacing, showing themselves in connections with people I love the most or I barely know. As I make it thru the emotional pain, aches pains and other symptoms I’ve been experiencing for the past disappear. I truly believe that all “conditions” are trapped energy that we had to put aside to survive in the world. If you were born poor you have to toughen up and keep pushing, or you don’t eat. Our parents, grandparents, etc all had to do this. So we energetically inherit all of this extra weight. We try to unload it anywhere we can, mostly with sex, drugs, and alcohol. The only way out is thru it and thru it again. Our spirits were put here at this moment in time to transcend these traumas collectively, as a tribe. We’ve been on the individual money mission, competing with each other vs building
God told me to tell you that the same light you see shining thru me is shining thru you too. The same freedom. The same love. All you have to do is let go of your fear of the unknown. Trust that everything is in divine order. I love you, even the parts you think are bad.
Since @askvash set off Tyrone Appreciation Day, and it’s officially his half birthday on the east coast, I want to celebrate the one and the only Tyrone Davis Jr aka Tyronsito You are everything. You have the power to lift everyone up in any room you enter and you continuously use that power to do just that. You show up for everyone you love, you’ve been the most consistent man in my life for the past 6 years, helping me get thru darkness I saw no way out of. I love you Tryonsito, thank you for being. Thank you for loving everyone that I do and building these bridges with me brick by brick 🧱 (insert Tyrone joke here) 😂 @jenjphoto you truly captured his light, power, and beautiful spirit in these pics from Lovefest. Thank you for the love you put into these ❤️ FYI there would be no LOVEFEST without him!

I was named after Bianca Jagger pictured here on a white horse in the middle of Studio 54, formerly married to Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones. As my mom describes her, “the first Latin crossover”, and also a fellow Taurus ♉️. She is a style icon (scroll for her lewks) remembered most for being one of the 4 main staples at studio 54, next to Halsted, Worhal, & Minnelli. Beyond this identity, she founded the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, which she chairs. She returned to Nicaragua to look for her parents after the 1972 Nicaragua earthquake, which destroyed Managua, the capital, leaving a toll of more than 10,000 deaths and tens of thousands homeless. In early 1979, Jagger visited Nicaragua with an International Red Cross delegation and was shocked by the brutality and oppression that the Somoza regime carried out there. This persuaded her to commit herself to the issues of justice and human rights. In the 1980s, she worked to oppose US government intervention in Nicaragua after the Sandinista revolution. She has also opposed the death penalty and defended the rights of women and of indigenous peoples in Latin America, notably the Yanomami tribe in Brazil against the invasion of gold miners. She spoke up for victims of the conflicts in Bosnia and Serbia. Her writings were published in several newspapers (including The New York Times and the Sunday Express). From the late 1970s, she collaborated with many humanitarian organisations including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. What an incredible namesake to be inspired by and to live up to! I will continue to expand and do my best to change the world the unique way I was designed to 🙏🏼

Lenny is one of the first people I met around 20 years old, when he and Bert where shitting on all of our street team dreams riding around in the Roc A Fella “street team” Benz...we’ve been like long distance cousin’s ever since. His energy has remained consistent with me, (every single encounter) and I bet he has no idea that every time I see him it takes me back to one of the most exciting and happy times of my life, when I was so in love with hip hop music I would do almost anything to contribute to it. So grateful for that! Thank you to @jenjphoto for capturing the first pic of us ever (that I can remember at least) @kodaklens Thank you for your consistent contributions to our culture, may your new year be as blissful and abundant as your last. Scroll left for the tbt 😬
From my perspective he’s not Jesus just as Lebron is not Jordan because it’s a different era and different game, however, Ermias is the equivalent in the millennial age, in the digital age, in the age of hip hop, in the age of black culture influencing the world. The seeds he planted here on earth matched with his enormous eternal spirit embody the power to continue to shift our consciousness, to see ourselves as powerful energetic vessels of God the way he did. He IS a prophet, a leader, a KING. Let his voice and message be amplified. If you’ve never listened to his music, do so now on repeat until you see yourself wholly. Let his intentions and vision be carried out by those of US directly connected to his community, his family, and business partners. Let us hold his QUEEN, our sister, Lauren up in her power, in her healing, in her most powerful love. May we always honor the sacrifices made for the healing and unity birthed from this most powerful transition by continuing to build these bridges back to our communities to uplift those in need. Much love and healing to all of my people connected to Nip, Boogie I love you so much, we are all here ready to support. 🏁
It’s our turn to create the world we are living into, what are we doing with that power?
😇 first love

Three of the most beautiful, loving, powerful Kings I’m honored to witness unfold this lifetime. Love this picture so much 😍

Network... What about when your “net” works for you. When your net (community) unfolds so dynamically that you’re always covered. No matter where you are there is love in the room, there to hold you, to support you, to bring you back up to the frequency you were born to reach. I’m so honored to both receive the support from my beautiful net when I fall and to be a part of the net supporting others. Love you. Thank you. 🥅🥅🥅
A lot of us need to be more conscious of what and how we share.
Feeling all the love put into these pants @weleh_ca created annnnnnd this chair that @devinmercadel created. Collectively they created such a powerful creative space. Thank you for all of the energy you both contribute to my space and for having me as a guest in yours. Keep. Going. 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you 🙏🏼
Grounding & Qi Gong (8 brocades) is the combo that works best for me. Everyone has their own way of recharging. These two have helped me tremendously, especially when my body is releasing suppressed pain from emotional healing. I spent a lifetime not accessing these very powerful and FREE methods to feeling better, sharing for those out there who may be looking for something to get thru these extreme high and low vibrations.
One time for Digital Underground. They made fire music, way more than just the just the Humpty Dance!! @lesleyer remember when we discovered our mutual love for their “Freaks of The Industry” track 😭😭 They also shouted Puerto Rican’s our in a time when people in the bay barely knew what Puerto Rico was! It meant so much to me
In 93 Shock G from Digital Underground moved into my apartment building (we had a section 8 due to single mom status 🙏🏼) when his house burnt down in the Oakland Hills fires. My friend and I stalked him because we were 15, and they were huge at the time. His manager bargained that he would let us go to the soundcheck of the 2pacalypse album release party, we gladly accepted. There we met Money B’s father who would later invite us to Brenda’s Got a Baby video shoot, and Gavin convention (music magazine conference). That’s where & when I decided I was going to be in the music business. At the time I said I wanted to be a producer (not knowing what they did). I was in love with hip hop! I was this tomboy kid just hanging out. I remember seeing DJ Quik (I got his autograph) and kicking it with Nas entourage who were all actually there with Kool G Rap. I picked up a So So Def sampler with Kris Kris’s Jump on it and listened to that song repeatedly before it played at local radio. I got white label vinyl of Das Efx “they want efx” and played it on my mom’s record player over and over again. Anyway, two years later I would start officially doing street team etc... but the question is does anyone know which 90s hip hop group this is????
We are hurt/mad/disgusted because most of us loved him thru his undeniable amazing music that raised us. A large percentage of us have either experienced sexual abuse first hand or have someone else in our family who did. This is the thing, as this series brings up your own stuff to the surface, please make sure you release, cry, feel, and let go before it takes you deeper into darkness. It’s not my position to excuse or not excuse something that didn’t happen to me (unless I’m actually on jury duty) , and this is not me sympathizing, this is me considering the energy that these stories are bringing out of us as a collective. It’s why I’m dedicated to the healing of my industry creatives, because his story isn’t different from a lot of people we love and hold high. I’m sending love to the victims AND the perpetrators who 90 percent of the time started as victims. I do this because God’s love flows thru me, and there’s enough for everyone
Also before I moved to New York and turned into a street team tomboy and wore nothing but 👟 I wore linen suits with heeled 👡 loafers. This was one of my best Friends at the time, when I moved to NY about a year after this pic he was my roommate in his homegirl’s apartment in Lefrak projects. I wish I could find him!! Finding this old film at my grandma’s house is such an adventure!! I barely have any pics of this era.
Used to make all my long distance calls on this burner flip. Also this was my hooptie that my dad got free from the church that we would mash out to Oakland to party in listening to @e40 In a Major Way!
Mid 90s @karl_watson_
We spend a lot of time amplifying their hate, that does nothing but keep us in that frequency. This year we could focus on all of the amazing accomplishments, growth, and beauty in the diversity of who we are. We could start to love each other and stop tearing down our brothers and sisters who didn’t grow up in an era where they could address their issues. We could stop amplifying each other’s mistakes, and focus on forgiving ourselves for our own. This would tremendously help us ascend out of the darkness we are born into. Love you.
