I just cleaned up my computer and found lots of wonderful projects Iâd forgotten about, like this work I did for @essie â creating personal watercolors to send to journalists for a new line they launched. Itâs a nice mood-booster to go back and look at work youâre proud of and enjoyed. Do you have a favorite project youâve ever worked on (art or otherwise)?

I was going to add color to the rest of this drawing, but I've decided to leave it at just the peaches. I'm often drawn to unfinished sketches, jotted down ideas, and whispers of work that may or may not ever be finished. What about you, do you prefer sketches or finished work?

Happy #NationalBirdDay! One of my favorite birds is the Australian Rainbow Lorikeet. Living in Seattle I really miss hearing Magpies warble, Lorikeets twitter in the grass, and Kookaburras laugh. Thereâs nothing quite like Australian Bird sounds! Whatâs your favorite bird?

Iâm trying to improve my digital drawing this year, but Iâm still really struggling with it. I drew this as homework for one of @stephfizercolemanâs wonderful @skillshare classes. I was trying to get looser and messier than I normally do but as a result I really hate it đą I keep telling myself that when youâre learning a new medium youâve got to make a lot of ugly art before you get to anything good! Any tips, suggestions, or words of comfort?

Yesterday was #NationalLighthouseDay so being fond of a good lighthouse I painted this little step-by-step illustration with my fancy new @prima_watercolor Concentrated Watercolors! Start with your outline, then fill in the colors (letting each one dry completely before adding the next), then add a background and some shading. Voila, cute little lighthouse illustration!
