some random new york moments, as i recuperate in bed, watching cowboy bebop, waiting for my empanadas to arrive
one day i might stop hoarding 98% of my photos. until then, here's one from iceland.

cuba is a daydream come true
the bluest of lagoons pt. i ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ today i concluded an epic four day adventure with many firsts including: - first time going to iceland - first time traveling dolo to another country - first time seeing the northern lights - first time getting stuck on the side of a highway in the snow 😭 (and hopefully the last) - first time getting wiped out by a ginormous wave that's below freezing and dropping my lens in said wave in front of lots of humans (does it count if this happened twice in a day?)
"sonder: the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own - populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness - an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk."
ringing in the new year with a new series of events empowering female creatives called "her perspective". the goal is to create a space where we can have candid conversations about relative topics, share industry experiences, and facilitate creative collaborations. this first event will be a panel of 3 amazing photographers followed by a cocktail mixer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ panelists: - @leeorwild - @barisonzi_photo - @jill.greenberg ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ swipe for more info and shoutout to @streetdreamsmag & @thefreehold for helping us bring this to life. all are welcome - hit the link in bio to join and hope to see you there!
what is life after hanging out in a hammock for a week straight?
blue hour with myles
alex, ian and i drove a few hrs upstate a couple weeks ago to experience storm king for their first time, only to find that it was closed. we were bummed but the drive home was so beautiful and foggy that we just found a random turnout and took epic xmas card photos instead. needless to say, this was one of my favorite detours of the year.

we were told not to go outside because the air quality sucked from the fires but we went on a 6 mile hike instead. the views were worth it, no ragrets
last weekend with quiñ. we got a funnel cake and went ride hopping after her show.
developing film gives me the same feels as being little opening a new pack of pokémon cards and hoping for a holographic charizard.
little people in big places
revisiting old images always involves a bit of self-reflection; same eyes but different versions of ourselves. this is holly on 35mm a few years ago at my old crib where we would play dress-up and drink micheladas with our pinky's up.
