Have you discovered @koketit? If you haven't, well, you're in for a real treat. . Tel Aviv-based artist Shira Barzilay began her career as a graphic designer – later turning her passion for drawing, illustrating, and art into KOKETIT. . To date, she has illustrated for brands like Chanel, Anthropologie, Facebook, Amazon, and many more. Check her out for daily, swoon-worthy inspiration. Fair warning though: she may take over your inspo mood-board! 💫

Hi, all! It's been a while since I did a formal introduction, so here we go. My name is Hallie, and I'm the founder of Future of Women ✨. . I grew up in Maine in a big family (I’m the oldest of four!). My family immigrated to the US from Poland and Spain and always emphasized the importance of education and imagination — which, I believe spurred my love for travel and adventure at a young age ✈️. . When I graduated from high school, I deferred admission to college for a year and moved to the Andes of Ecuador to learn my grandmother's language. While abroad, I loved learning about the new foods and culture; you could say that I had officially caught the travel bug. I've had the opportunity to live and work all over the world — from Guatemala to London to Brazil to Lebanon, spending years at @worldbank advising national governments on best practices for supporting entrepreneurs and the creative industries for economic development — and today our @futureofwomen breakfast events have spanned from Mexico City to Tel Aviv to my current home of Los Angeles. . Since our launch last year, we've hosted 14 Future of Women breakfasts and have met over 600 amazing women in the process ✨. . We hope you'll join us at our next one. With 💛, Hallie. . We can't thank our sponsors, partners, and collaborators enough for helping us bring together another successful — and inspiring — event ✨. . Time after time, we're so incredibly humbled by the women who show up to support us — and each other. . Thank you @bonnietsang, @sonokosakai, @mishelprada, @nadra.w, @tastemade, @handsomebrookfarm, @adrianaurbinap, @melodywinebar, @thesill, @wearebrightland, @spindriftfresh, @flybyjing, @lovvelavva, @shreebscoffee, @diasporaco, @shreebscoffee, and @littlecalpurnia 💛.

A perfect nook to cozy up with a good book if we do say so ourselves 💙 . . Some books at the top of our must-read list? ✨ City Of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. ✨ Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. ✨ Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner. . Bloomsbury Hotel in London, photo by @rajnialexdesign

We're so excited for breakfast bright and early on Monday! Chef Adriana Urbina ( @adrianaurbinap), three-time winner of the Food Network's "Chopped" and the creator of Tepuy, a thoughtful and approachable tasting menu inspired by the richness and unique flavors of Venezuelan cuisine, is doing a world tour of culinary events — joining forces with like-minded women in the industry, collaborating with chefs, winemakers, artists, and amazing creatives in 10+ cities — and we're thrilled to be part of her first stop: LA 💛.

Today, we're reminiscing about a FOW breakfast we hosted at ✨El Jardin✨, a regional Mexican restaurant by chef @claudettezepedawilkin and Rise & Shine Restaurant Group inspired by the flavors Zepeda experienced growing up between San Diego, Tijuana, and Guadalajara. . What they dish up is a beautiful amalgamation of flavors from different regions—from Arroz con Leche Crepes to Huevos Suizos (creamy poblano rice), both of which were heavenly as one would expect 💛

On Tuesday, @archdigest featured @mas4la. We’re so excited to welcome @mas4la co-founder Elizabeth Timme to our @futureofwomen breakfast on Monday in LA! // Elizabeth Timme is a third generation architect born in Houston and raised in Los Angeles. Watching her parents build in remote locations and start a design school meant that Elizabeth grew to see the practice of architecture as a community-based profession. Growing up in Texas where land use planning and zoning is limited and California where exclusionary zoning practices are historic, Elizabeth is excited by the challenge of Los Angeles where rules are plentiful but often contradictory. Elizabeth co-founded LA-Más because she saw a need for a design approach to be integrated early on in public projects and civic planning. She believes designers can help create a unified vision, identify creative alternatives, and work in partnership with communities. Elizabeth provides leadership at LA-Más by ensuring all projects are thoughtfully designed and critically engage systemic problems. Elizabeth has extensive experience in architecture and construction administration having worked at MASS Design Group, Ball-Nogues Studio, and Zimmer Gunsul Frasca. Elizabeth has taught design-build studios at Woodbury University’s Agency for Civic Engagement (ACE) Center and serves on the Zoning Advisory Committee of Re: Code LA, a city-led effort to transform the city’s outdated zoning code. She holds a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Southern California. #architecture #women #losangeles

So psyched to have @radha_mistry joining our Sept 24 breakfast on women in architecture. Radha has a background in architecture, narrative environments, and strategic foresight. In the Office of the CTO (OCTO) at @autodesk, Radha explores the impact of emerging technologies and how it will change the way we design and make things in the future. Prior to Autodesk, Radha focused on the Future of Work with the @steelcase Applied Research group. Her work sought out ways organizations could drive Innovation through design. Previous to Steelcase, Radha was part of the @arupgroup Foresight + Innovation team in London and San Francisco, crafting speculative futures for global clients; and was one of the original co-founders of GOATstudio in New Orleans — bringing some “swagger” and better opportunities for young architects. Radha has also exhibited during the Lisbon Architecture Triennale and worked on design-led community engagement initiatives in cities across Europe. #women #architecture #losangeles

Our Tel Aviv breakfast is tomorrow and we are thrilled to have Sharon Ezra joining us✨ Sharon will speak about how she uses fashion to empower people to express their own narratives, most recently through her creation of a gender neutral fashion line. Sharon was born in Israel and since childhood has been passionate about Italian fashion and design. Seven years ago, after graduating her B.A Fashion design studies at @shenkar_college, she moved to Milan with a dream to learn from the best fashion making industry of the world. She was rejected by fifty leading designer houses in Italy, but was not deterred. She entered through the back door, sewing buttons and zippers working for a remote Italian supplier. Now the head of several fashion companies, she describes how starting at the ‘button’ paved her way to success. She recently gave a @tedx_official talk called Buttons Up about this journey. She was selected as @forbes 30 under 30 list of Israel in 2016, Founded D4D, an artisan database for designers and manufacturers, founded @quattrocentoeyewear, a hand-crafted-in-Italy eyewear brand, and co-founded @wildevertigga, a contemporary gender neutral fashion line. #telaviv #israel #women #fashion #art #design #milan
