Our Future Families session for young trans/non-binary/questioning ppl aged 11-24 is taking place in London tomorrow. It can be scary or confusing thinking about families and fertility when it feels like a long way off and services aren't great. Come and talk about your hopes and fears and how to make decisions. News about this year's trans youth summer residential! We're running camp for 11-17 year olds in August. If you're aged 18+ you can apply for our residential worker training course in June to prepare you to lead camps in the future. Here's a preview: Trans: Adventurers across time and space This past year it was confirmed beyond all doubt that Dr Who is trans as Jodie Whittaker began playing their latest incarnation. During the same year we’ve been in the midst of an unprecedented trans moral panic where trans people have been treated much like the mutant characters in the X-men (echoing similar treatment of gay people in earlier decades). In this talk I play with the idea that trans people can usefully be regarded as timelords and shapeshifters - or shifters of space.
