Creating new workout plans to shock my system has been a passion of mine. I think it’s fascinating how some small changes can change the outcome of a workout or help you over a plateau. I’ve tried a lot of things but I’m still curious to see how far I can push my body :)! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With my new routine I was able to gain 2.5 pounds of muscle mass in a very short period of time. I’ve been reading a lot of your dms lately and so many of you struggle with the same issue. The messages are similar to this! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “How do you stay motivated while everybody around you is telling you that you won’t make it?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ People who put you down or only point out your negative characteristics and flaws are weak. They struggle with themselves but find it easier to put you down instead. Don’t let their voices become your reality. It’s not always easy but if nobody is rooting for you you have to be your number one fan. Every morning while you brush your teeth think about your strengths and the great characteristics you posses that make you an amazing person! The more you are aware of them the quieter the outside voices will become. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Be your own number 1 fan!

My go to exercises to add more muscle mass are deadlifts, back squats, cleans, bench press and bent over rows. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Reason behind this is that all of the above are compound movements which will strengthen your entire body. Deadlifts are still my number one 😆!

I prefer HIIT over LISS training for multiple reasons. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. The time commitment for a HIIT is way shorter (around 15-20 min). LISS is usually between 30-60 min. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. You can improve your Vo2 max way faster with HIIT. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. HIIT done right burns more calories which subsequently leads to faster fat loss. (If you want to gain muscle mass but still keep your body fat low I’d recommend LISS because you’ll need the extra calories to put on size) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. HIIT boosts your metabolism for the next 12-24 hours after your session which is amazing when you think about it :)! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What’s your favorite type of cardio and why? I’m curious 🤔

As you guys know I’m in love with @underarmour gear. So when they invited me to the launch of their new product line called RUSH I was more than excited. I was so excited because they created a line which gives you back energy while working out. They used minerals which will use your body heat to create energy which will be sent back to your body. It’s insane. I’ll definitely give it a try and let you know what I think. #uarush #ad
