Thursday July 25th, 2019 at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC): Today was a historic day at MMTC as thousands of Kenyans witnessed the Grand opening of the completed Advanced Cancer Treatment and Diagnostic Center of the 5,000 bed Hamptons Hospital as shown above. The official opening was presided over by the Chief Guest Archbishop Most Reverend Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit the Primate of the Anglican Church of Kenya represented by his second in command the Dean of the Province Right Reverend Dr. Joseph Wasonga. The opening of the Hospital marks a historic milestone in the region as more than 100,000 East Africans who frequent India annually for medical treatment will now be treated at home. The Cancer center is equipped with equipment and machines that can detect and treat dozens of different forms of cancer and will become the largest Cancer research center in the world at the completion of the entire hospital in December 2020. Many diginitaries including investors, corporate leaders, political leaders from allover the world attended the event with more than 30 elected leaders from Kenya including the National elected leaders from Kakamega County, County elected leaders, leaders of key Committees of Health and energy from the National assembly. US corporate leaders in attendance announced a US $ 100 million investment into the Hospital's infrastructure. The event was broadcast live by national media including Live broadcasts by Citizen Television and NTV television and was attended by thousands of Kenyans. Above the team from Atlanta based MCX environmental Energy Corp. led by their CEO Sharrief Mustakeem landed in the City with US $ 100 million for hospital's main back-up 30 MW solar power park. Saturday July 13th, 2019 at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC): Thank you your Excellency First Lady of Kisumu County Hon. Dorothy Nyong'o (Mama Kisumu) for leading the official benchmarking delegation from Kisumu County as shown above. The delegation included key Government officials including the Finance Minister Hon. Nerry Achar and Dr. Peter Okoth the CEO for Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) . The team began the overall tour of this US $ 2 billion community owned sustainable City at the Plaza district where they toured the Mall with supermarket, residences and the completed advanced Cancer treatment and diagnostic center of the 5,000 bed Hamptons Hospital. The Center will open to the public on July 25th, 2019.Dr. Maurice Siminyu led the tour at the Hospital as shown above. The benchmarking tour proceeded to the Golf District where they interracted with locals who are partners of the City and tried out golf at our Hamptons Golf Course. The driving tour continued through the airport district and finally to Grid district lasting for about 5 hours. Below Hamptons Hospital CEO Hon. Dr. Maurice Siminyu together with MMTC team completed the final test runs for the advanced cancer treatment and diagnostics center of the 5,000 bed Hamptons Hospital. Hamptons hospital staff together with models acting as healthcare workers reenacted the Cancer center's operations as shown below. The advanced cancer center is now expected to start operations anytime from now after acquiescence. MMTC will make an official press release on the opening of the cancer center in due course immediately after acquiescence. When open the hospital will receive patients and their family members and employ healthcare workers who can be hosted in the variety of amenities within MMTC. Saturday September 8th, 2018 at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC): Phase 3 is currently underway with the continued construction of the 4800 resident homes on our beautifully Landscaped 36 hole Hamptons Golf Course. The residences are being finished to the International standards and will accommodate healthcare workers of the 5,000 bed Hamptons Hospital. Below is the finished private Olympic size swimming pool in the completed Plaza residences in the Plaza district of MMTC. The pool is equipped to perform all the olympic aquatic activities including diving and competitive Lap swimming . Other popular olympic size swimming pools in Kenya can be found at Nyayo stadium and Kasarani sports complex both based in Nairobi. Thursday September 6th, 2018 at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC): Phase 3 is currently underway with the continued construction of the 5,000 bed Hamptons Hospital and the continued Construction of 4800 resident homes on our beautifully Landscaped 36 hole Hamptons Golf course. Below the design of the Hamptons Airport is now complete as per the renderings below. The airport is expected to break ground by April 2019 after acquiescence and will take 18 months to complete construction. The airport will primarily be used to drop and pick passengers that are either visiting the city for medical treatment or for tourism. The 5,000 bed Hamptons Hospital is expected to treat 12,000 patients per day when completed in 2020 and many of these patients will fly into the city from Nairobi or from other airport locations. The airport terminal will have a shopping arcade and will link the 5,000 bed Hamptons hospital Via an aerial cable car. The entire airport district will have a convention center, a water park and 238 residences for healthcare workers. When completed the airport will employ 240 permanent workers immensely benefiting the local community. The resort will have 1500 rooms when completed in July 2019 with 7 star amenities that will make MMTC an ultra luxury travel destination for medical tourists and other leisure visitors frequenting the city. The resort will have 6 restaurants, 4 Spas, a lap pool and a resort pool, a golf club, two tennis courts, a helipad, an ice skating ring and a high end shopping district along the Hamptons Plaza to its East. The advanced Cancer Diagnostic and treatment center of Hamptons Hospital is ready and currently the machines and equipment are being tested by our Medical staff as shown below. The Cancer section will be open to the public for Diagnosis and treatment beginning September 20th, 2018.
