I’ve always wanted a second ear piercing but wasn’t allowed to get it until I was 18. Soooo this is what happened this summer🤪

Hello from the beach 🏖
Today’s #rolemodelmonday is Edna Chavez, an intelligent, strong 17 year old from south Los Angeles. She is one of the prominent, young faces that are leading the gun-control #NeverAgain movement. At a young age, she lost her brother in a shooting and faced the hard reality of this being the new “normal” in today’s world. Edna stated, “I learned to duck from bullets before I learned how to read.” Thank you @ed.naaaa for being a leader in this movement and a voice of change for our generation. With the recent tragedies this past weekend, we need people like Edna more than ever.

#ad I am so excited for the premiere of #Descendants3, so I created an UMA inspired makeup look! I love the Descendants movies so much, that when I heard that it is coming out on August 2nd on @disneychannel, I knew I had to do something to celebrate! Make sure to tune in to @disneydescendants!
Which emoji face is most you?🤪
Today’s #RoleModelMonday is the oldest woman to climb the world’s tallest freestanding mountain. After only nine days, 89-year-old Anne Lorimor completed climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. She shares, “there was a point I was really concerned, because I fell before I started up the mountain, and I had a great pain in my side, and I couldn’t take deep breaths.” Being worried that she wasn’t able to go, Anne was still determined to embark on the journey, so she did! This world record setter stated that she has always had a love for hiking and even climbed the mountain four years ago. Congrats Anne on this amazing accomplishment!

My #RoleModelMonday is fellow dancer @natalie.dibertt, who is talented, strong, and one of the most determined dancers I’ve ever come across. Natalie was born with a right arm shorter than her left. This uncommon physical challenge makes it twice as hard for Dibert to learn tricks but this never deterred her from going after her dreams to dance. Since then she has surpassed most dancers her age and has gone on to compete on the senior preprofessional team. She has earned over 200 accolades from dancing, and is now in training for the Celebrity Nationals at Sea. Thank you for being such an inspiration to dancers everywhere!

This week’s #RoleModelMonday is 7th-grader Chloe Mei Espinosa who started @skiptheplasticstraw, a campaign dedicated to reducing the use of single-use plastic straws. Skip The Plastic Straw stemmed from Chloe’s sixth-grade project, where she was asked to create something based off of a passion of hers. From this, she built her website, and after just one month, Chloe was able to reach her goal of getting 500 people to take the pledge and save the oceans. Now Chloe is taking on other projects that can help spread her message and encourage many to skip the plastic straw. Congrats Chloe for sticking to your passion and helping to save the world’s oceans!

The old Emma can’t come to the phone right now... why? Because she’s dead. Thank you so much @boldandbeautifulcbs for taking a chance on me. This was my first scripted show and I will always be grateful for this amazing experience. These last scenes were bittersweet but so much fun to film. And to all the Emma fans thank you so much for all of the love and support. Until next time B&B❤️
This week’s #RoleModelMonday is the youngest documented person to climb Yosemite National Park’s El Capitan, Selah Schneiter. After a 5-day hike with her dad, this 10-year-old hiked up 3,000 feet! Being the site where her mom and dad fell in love, Selah’s father was excited to have completed the journey with his daughter. “I just can’t believe I did that,” said Selah as she cried her first happy tears. With this huge accomplishment behind her Selah has words of encouragement for anyone facing something difficult. “If you have a big goal, it’s really hard to attack it all at once. You have to do it piece by piece. Take that big goal and make it into a bunch of small goals.” Going on to say “Just remember, you look up more than you look down.” After finishing the climb, Selah celebrated by getting a slice of pizza with her dad. Congrats on this huge accomplishment!
