Madeira is such a small place but packs in some of the most diverse landscapes we’ve ever visited. If you’ve not considered going before, I think you should change your mind! 🌴

nomadlad

I loved seeking out these windmills right in the heart of Bruges. In another news, I’ve finished my last day at work, ready for our next trip this week! Where’s everyone heading to this summer? ✈️

nomadlad

Views for days and a tiny @thewherevergirl for scale. This place was vast to say the least! ⛰

nomadlad

An animal, on my feed? This little guy was too cute not to share. @thewherevergirl and I visited the Faroe Islands nearly two years ago and it was one of our best trips to date! Capturing this puffin all on its own was a personal highlight 🐧

nomadlad

Golden mornings in Shanghai. Me and @thewherevergirl are heading back to Asia next week and we can’t wait! Where’s your next trip? ✈️

nomadlad

If you go to Madeira, please go and find this outdoor shower, which also doubles up as a car wash 🚿

nomadlad

So, big update in my stories about what’s going on in our lives. Basically, @thewherevergirl & I are moving to the UAE next month! I’ve also saved it to my story highlights as well for you all. Go check it out! 👫

nomadlad

I still can’t believe the conditions we witnessed in Scotland a few weeks ago. Well worth dragging @thewherevergirl out of bed at 6am for I reckon! 🛌 #visitscotland

One of the finest views in Japan. Hiroshima is also one of my favourite Japanese cities - it’s got a dark history but the place is so vibrant with more ramen then you can eat. And yes, the birds are real 🍜

nomadlad

The golden delights of Portugal. Here’s @jackharding checking his endless DM’s whilst strolling down this pretty epic beach 🤳

nomadlad

One of my favourite shots, from one of my favourite trips, from my favourite country. Desperately want to get back to China and explore some more...but first, big plans coming soon! 😏

nomadlad

I have a lot of love for Portugal. The coast, the food and the friendly people all make me want to return. This spot was a 15 minute walk from our hotel and was perfect for sunset. Shot with @canonuk 70-200mm f/2.8L II lens 💃🏼

nomadlad

Walks through one of best landscape I know. China really does get under your skin and I can’t wait to return 😎

nomadlad

Southern Germany has lots of these little wooden huts dotted about the landscape. What really made me stop here though was the insane light coming through the tops of the mountains and streaming across the trees 🌲

nomadlad

Golden light over my favourite Belgian town. I distinctly remember after I took this photo we went and got some of the tastiest food and beer we’ve ever had...ahh I miss Belgium 🍻 @visitbruges

nomadlad

Super excited to finally be heading back to Asia next month. It’s been a while since I was last there, but I really can’t wait! Anyone guess which countries we are heading to?! ⛰

nomadlad

Not quite on the same scale as the French equivalent, but this place was still pretty epic. Especially when the sun finally decided to burst through the arch! 🙏🏻

nomadlad

Spent most of last week chilling in Portugal with @thewherevergirl. Found a few locations I’d not seen before and made the most of the reflections and rock formations. Both images shot with the @canonuk 24mm f/1.4 L II #CanonUK

nomadlad

A few weeks ago me and the crew headed north in search of some insane locations. It didn’t take us long to find this spot and a crazy @theworldwithsarah doing her bit to create some sense of scale! #mad 🤯

nomadlad

Coastal escapes in Madeira. What a place this is, so many locations packed on to a tiny island - definitely want to head back soon 🌴

nomadlad

Shanghai, the city that keeps on giving. There are so many places to shoot there that I didn’t even get to, but the Art Museum was one of those locations I had to see first hand 🎨

nomadlad

Such a stunning morning here. Easily one of the best I’ve had since taking photography more seriously. I’m desperate to go back to Asia soon - who’s in? 🗻

nomadlad

Popped to Vienna last week with work, but managed to get out in the city one evening for a look around - so I hope you enjoy this little series. Definitely somewhere I’d like to spend a bit more time for sure! #visitaustria 🇦🇹

nomadlad

Moody early rises in Shanghai. This city offered so much for the photographer. I can’t wait to go back to at some point - who’s keen? 💃🏼

nomadlad

One the most stunning mornings I’ve had for a while. Perfect light and flat, mirror-like water. Scotland showing off as always 🙏🏻

nomadlad

Sometimes finding unexpected locations can turn out to be pretty good! Managed to catch the last light of the day at this 14th century castle 🏰

nomadlad

Still find this place pretty mind-boggling. Standing high above Barcelona, it can be seen from pretty much anywhere in the city - definitely go visit it if you’re in town! Plus there’s a theme park right next door too! 🎡

nomadlad

Not a normal post for me I know, but I just wanted to share something different and also update you guys on some stuff. I’ve fell out of love a little with this platform and as a result spent less and less time on here, which, to be honest has been extremely rewarding. I’ve not got much lined up in terms of trips right now either , but going forward this will change and I’m super excited to share with you all what’s happening. Stay tuned and thanks for following along so far 🙏🏻 #update

nomadlad

Perfect morning reflections on the Portuguese coast. Pretty tempted to head back here soon for some warmer weather! ☀️

nomadlad

Had a blast last week in Scotland. It was great to get to a few spots that I had not been to before, particularly this location, with the best sunset of the whole trip! Who doesn’t love a Scottish castle?! 🏰

nomadlad

Golden sunsets on at one of the most impressive sights I’ve seen for a while. Been a little MIA with posts, but had a great trip in Scotland over the weekend - more to come from that soon! Hope everyone’s having a good week! 🙏🏻

nomadlad

Loved this spot at sunset. I reckon they planted those trees on purpose to be the perfect frame 🖼

nomadlad

I think I need to get back to Majorca and capture more of this insane landscape. Sunset here wasn’t looking too promising, but the wait paid off and the sun finally burst through the clouds ⛅️

nomadlad

England does actually impress me sometimes! The way these rays of light burst through the sky was crazy to see! Here’s to warm summer evenings, hopefully not too long to wait now! ☀️

nomadlad

Germany showing off all of the colours last autumn. As busy as some places get and as often as they are photographed, I still think this is one of nicest spots in Europe and the view sure does blow me away 🏔

nomadlad

I reckon these two definitely had one of the best views that morning. The sun perfectly casting light on the rock, as it rose above the mountains. What a place this is 🙏🏻

nomadlad

I totally fell in love with this city. The architecture, the food and the sangria all made for a great trip. I’d wanted to try and get this shot for a while and waited for the perfect moment when the sun burst through the arch, creating this insane light and shadow mixture 💥

nomadlad

One of the most magical sunrises I’ve witnessed for a long time. It was a little chilly whilst venturing out, so I was glad I had my Nessh jacket from @dark.peak. See more in my stories about this unique brand. #DarkPeakGear #OneSoldOneGiven #Ad 📷 @jackharding

nomadlad

Ever since the first time I visited Shanghai, I’ve always loved the way the sun rises behind the packed in skyscrapers of Pudong. The way the light bursts through the buildings and creates these streaks is pretty epic. Whilst taking this shot, I was being shouted at by security to land my drone! 😅👮🏻‍♂️

nomadlad

Throwback to this infamous location in Japan. I wish I was on my way there now for the cherry blossoms - I definitely need to visit again soon! Who’s heading there this year? 🌸

nomadlad

Just outside of Barcelona you will find this insane landscape. Standing on the edge and seeing the whole valley below me blew my mind, as did the layers of the mountains in the distance 🤯

nomadlad

Madeira was one of those places that felt like no other. It’s a little hard to get your head around how small the island is, but also how diverse it is. From beaches, to insane mountains, to foggy forests and cute villages, it really does deserve a visit 🇵🇹

nomadlad

A little Thailand series for a Sunday. This place is only accessible by boat and it was such a chilled spot to spend the evening and mess about in the ocean 🌊

nomadlad

It’s pretty difficult to find a bad place to take a photo in Portugal. Clear skies, calm seas and the warm sun on our skin made this the perfect start to our trip to Portugal last month 🇵🇹

nomadlad

Super happy about getting back to Scotland next week and having an explore! Would love to spend more time up there this year and get to some new spots 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

nomadlad

I fell in love with this tiny island. Absolutely packed full of varied landscapes and insane coasts. Would love to go back soon, who’s in? 🌿

nomadlad

Sunrise in my favourite city in the world. I’m glad I got the chance to visit this place as often as I did. Makes me miss it even more though! 🇨🇳

nomadlad

Dreaming of warmer places and beaches right now. This spot in Majorca was silent at sunrise, with only a handful of people around. Can you spot the person on the beach? 🏖

nomadlad

There’s two main reasons why I love this place so much. One is the sheer scale of the peaks that surround the lake and the other is the reflections you can get. Most times I’ve been here the lake has looked more like a giant mirror! Oh, the cloud looked pretty sweet too! ☁️☁️

Tibidabo sits at just over 500m above Barcelona. The summit can been seen from most parts of the city, with the striking Sagrat Cor church, which took 60 years to build, perched right on the top ⛪️
