Let’s acknowledge where we’re at. Always growth seasons, in one, coming into one, leaving one - we are a bunch of processes. Right, now I’m learning we cannot worry about how other people behave. People are in their own seasons and we have to let them be there fully. No condemnation, no judgement. We are not responsible for other people; only ourselves. Do you need to forgive someone? Initiate. Do you need to ask for forgiveness? Initiate. Is that person yourself? Reach out to someone and acknowledge their growth today - a couple of words impact in bigs ways.
One of the first portraits I took years ago.
Will be back on the beach in less than a week. Bring it in Sayulita. This from Nicaragua - the last time I got to head down to Central America.

It’s takes a deep roster to open a restaurant; it’s a community, building a family. Thankful to document their first days serving the public. It’s fun to tell the story through stills. Excited for their growth. Here’s to tasty treats in Salt Lake City at @gingerstreetslc
You ever have those weeks where you can’t get out of your head? You’ve gotta get out. Make your health a priority.
I fly out in a week to shoot these friends wedding. It’s gonna be a good time!
It’s a lot of fun being creative with realty photos. This is a beautiful house in Harvard/Yale neighborhood here in Salt Lake listed by the Perry Group.
Big fan of friends who want to explore together.
Growth comes to healthy plants when you reach into the weeds around it and pull them out by their roots. It’s slow, methodical work. It’s not glamorous. Sometimes you don’t get it all and you see some of those weeds spring back, grow again. It’s okay, get you hands dirty and do it again. Pull that s*** out. As times goes on, you’ll see that weeding is a constant job. But those dirty hands are doing a good work. At the end you’ll see the beauty.
When you are attracted to people, it’s because of the details. Their kindness. Their eyes. The fact that they can get you to laugh when you need it the most.
All about those angles. How was this a whole year ago?! Biegs, you’re a strong woman and I’m glad to know you.
If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.

Piggybacking on a mountain. I climbed all 11,000ft like this. Just kidding, we took the tram.
Today’s a good day to have a good day, these two are coming to visit in Salt Lake! May the snow be fresh and the laughter made easy.
My guy, icicles and all.
Steady on my wayward son.

Have yourself a day McConniel. I know it was yesterday, but you’re the type of guy who needs to be celebrated everyday. Love to you man!
Erin, probably the photographer who has inspired me the most these past two years - not only with her art, but her openness, strength and humility as well. Hoping the best for your day, friend. (This from Greece summer of 2017, following along in her inaugural adventure group under the EO banner)

Took time to visit an old favorite spot and it never disappoints. Love the beauty of the southeast. #eastcoastcreatives
Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.” I thought on her words this week and the truth of them - we can act or react, but our path is uniquely our own. There is beauty in that. Unlike these beautiful stone arches, which can do nothing but change and take shape with the wind, we can move and decide where to go and what to look like - our choices are our own.
Connection, walking together, we have a finite amount of time on this rock. Foster your relationships well and give yourself grace when you mess up, because we all do.
