this wasn’t from tonight
When I did this lovely photoshoot with @jessgleeson, she showed me the pictures after taking them. When she showed me the pics I noticed those pimples on my cheek and made a shitty comment about myself. I had the option of then photoshopping them out, but then i thought about it and realized that doing that would be crazy right? On that day (a few days before my period btw) I got a few pimples on my cheek and that’s the reality!! Concealing that from you guys just to look perfect (because having clear skin is apparently perfection??) would be dishonest and a disservice to you. Plus at the end of the day they’re just pimples so I really shouldn’t be complaining!! Next time you feel self conscious or upset about a photo taken revealing your pimples, take a moment to realise that you’re you and you’re human and pimples don’t mean imperfection, they are human and they are beautiful!!
AHHHH @peachpack ‘s first ever print feature article for @coupdemain ‼️‼️‼️unfortunately my other 🍑 half @alyssacarp1 was in London during this time so that’s why she’s not sitting next to me but pretty sure our answers would be indentical anyway 🤪🤪 📷 by the talented @jessgleeson LINK IN STORIES FOR FULL ARTICLE
brb just on our world tour
i hope you all enjoyed my first ever haul the other day. as you know I bought all of these clothes from a local Australian op shop. by purchasing clothes from an op shop, not only are you saving 💵 💵 but you’re also contributing to a more sustainable, and ethical clothing system. Apparently it can take up-to 1800 galleons of water to produce one pair of jeans 😯how awesome that we can reduce our wastage significantly by purchasing sick-as clothes from second hand stores?! Ps obvs I don’t always buy from op shops because im not perfect, but hopefully this post can hold me more accountable for my future purchasing decisions! 👊🏽
sorry guys, there’s no social commentary behind this pic

Thank you everyone for the best birthday yet. So grateful to have such amazing people around me. I’d be nothing without them. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey, please read me! As a young woman, growing up I felt obligated to look a certain way. I was obsessed with the way I consumed food and would hate myself if I missed a day of exercise. Acknowledging the reality that beauty should not be defined by external expectations is important, yet hard to overcome. It’s ironic how nervous I am to post a picture of me with a few tiny rolls, just because of the way society has constructed the “ideal” body. Self assurance and redefining beauty through a unique lens is a good way to start! (Although much harder said then done). What I want to do is encourage you all to listen to your body. Exercise because it makes you feel good, and because our bodies are incredible things that can be pushed to achieve great accomplishments (some of my friends are running a half marathon next weekend 😱😱 and I’m so proud of them!) If exercising once a week is enough for you, then you do you! If exercising everyday is what makes you feel good, then you do you! As long as we are respecting ourselves and LISTENING to what our bodies actually want/need that is what’s important! In this crazy world of expectations it brings a sigh of relief to know that there are other women (some with A LOT more knowledge than me) fighting for this mentality to be the NORM. Incredible women like the beautiful @jshealth (who without, the #loveyourbody exercises, I would be back at square one) are fighting for this and making it their mission to help women realize that it’s not about rolls or abs, but about being truly balanced and feeling healthy. And hey! Maybe one day we won’t have to justify/write crazy ass long captions just to post a picture with a few squishes on your hips!

R U OK? Have you asked someone this today? Are you challenging yourself to be a better friend, colleague, family member, or stranger every day? Check up on the people you care about. Asking someone how they’re going will only encourage them to speak up and feel supported. You’re not alone ❤️
