First of all, Merry Chrismaaa tooo allll. What a way to end off the year and spend the holidays. Thank you to everyone who came to the solo opening and closing. It has meant the world to come back home to New York City and showcase my work in these locations that have molded my person. I have been truly blessed, and am forever grateful for surrounding myself with such amazing friends, family, and communities who have supported me through and through. My vision of hosting two exhibitions in distinct different locations in my eyes was a huge success, idealistically breaking the traditional norms of exhibition spaces was made possible with the help of both partners in @dare2dreambx & @nyartsprogram. It wouldn’t have been possible without you all. Once again thank you @therealswizzz & @thedeancollection for making this all feasible. It has been my pleasure to call myself one of the Twenty | TDC Artists. I have learned an immense amount throughout this entire process. However, my work here isn’t over, for those who missed, I promise I’ll be back, the first of many. Lastly, to those who traveled from across the United States just to make my show, I owe you all some flights cause that was amazing. #RIPPNUT #TYG #TDC20 #LookAtGod #DollarAndADream

A short introduction and tease towards the upcoming shows in New York City. Want to see more ? RSVP & Save the dates. According to Aristotle, “the soul never thinks without an image” Image-making and our perceptions of it serve as a way for us to make sense of the world. Through art, people are able to create conceptualizations of their understanding about the specific ways they see the world. Within this body of work, I am making an attempt to articulate the connection between the artistic experience of studying the historical cannon of painting and its benefits to thinking while viewing visual perception as a cognitive activity. More clearly, what is the history in front of me and how do I choose to deconstruct and reconstruct it back together. I’m arguing that artistic activity serves as a form of reasoning and a way to think with the senses, my reactionary way of compositing a painting reflects on my individual. The reason why I decided to have two pop up shows is because of my roots and influences being from the Bronx. Bridging the gap between communities was my initial goal when proposing this to the dean collection. A pop-up exhibition is a temporary art event, less formal than a gallery or museum but more formal than private artistic showing of work. The idea began in 2007 in NYC where space for exhibiting artistic work is very limited. Although the idea originated from New York City, pop-up exhibitions now occur all around the world. Showing back where my practice first started, and then getting to show in a space that was a safe haven for me afterschool and raised me, a place where people come to give back like Dee, the CEO of Ruff Ryders is something people only dream about. It’s been an intense year. I’ve been off social media for a while prepping for these upcoming events. Here we are to close off the 2018 year with my upcoming solo showings “Reflections of Ghetto Stories” in NEW YORK CITY. I would like to extend a special thank you to both of my partners @nyartsprogram & @dare2dreambx in proving spaces for me to engage with both communities as that was a vital focus in proposing these shows. Furthermore, I would like to extend more gratitude to @thedeancollection & @therealswizzz for making this happen. Save the dates, as I will be posting more soon on what’s to come. Lastly, I would like to extend a super huge thank you to @phonifarm to helping me out with all of my difficulties as he has been a problem solver for me throughout this last half decade. #TDC20
New Collaboration:: skipxd x saiya kil : Tape coming soon, look out this Halloween Weekend 🎪. I had the privilege to listen to pre-released music while making this cover. A wave is coming, true artist.
REMember? Watching Movies, creating Youforias that dealt with suplexes inside of complexes and duplexes, claymations featuring damsels in distress of someone like you. O.k, it’s 2009, goosebumpz, the star room matches the bird call like an s.o.s, creating reflection like objects in the mirror. When in Rome time flies trying to break the law, here we are in the bag, perfect circle / god speed. Our club house, 100 grandkids two matches waiting at the red light like rush hour. The ascension into the weekend makes the festival jump, had fun ? Cut the check. My team up all night loitering, creating a hole in my pocket, don’t let all these diamonds and gold fool you, remember my missed calls. Here remembered as the man in hat. One last thing, smile back, even under the weather make sure it comes of the soul. I don’t know about the come back to earth, hurt feelings? What’s the use ? Walking around like everything is perfecto, all this talk about self care, I’ve earned my wings like these angels, I see my ladder, discovered small worlds, dunno, so it goes. More jet fuel, because this is conversations part l. My thoughts from a balcony, this is the mourning after, sunlight, more clarity, who would’ve thought that this is what aliens fighting robots was like. Loud, Cinderella this is my favorite part we now know, my soulmate, god, is fair, sexy nasty. I’ve finally landed on planet god damn, Dang! I’m here to stay. Congratulations. #RIPMacMiller #RIPLarryFisherman
