First swim of the summer, first summer of his life
Future so bright I gotta wear shades.
This is the moment a guy who got a “C” in a high school guitar elective got to hold a guitar owned by Pink Floyd string man David Gilmour. Today, it sold at auction for nearly 4 million bucks...nearly, I guess, because I played it too.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad. Even when it’s complicated.

Found this velvet graffiti a few steps from the actual red carpet, and felt right at home.
Our little guy’s first Spider-Man bandage but more importantly his first round of vaccines. Get your shots, folks. They work.
73,000 Americans fought on D-Day, including Jake Larson, now 96. He returned this morning, 75 years later, and looking to the sea instead of the land. As was the case on D-Day, the forecast called for storms but the weather held thru the ceremony. Thank you to those who served then—and those serving today.
Whats black and white and read all over? My new 8:30pm bedtime routine.
That feeling when you realize you’ll never figure out how to get the baby back in the baby wrap.
Getting ready to tie one on.
Thinking about my grandfather TSgt Rudolph Dokoupil (bottom row, 3rd from the left) and the crew of Bodacious. During WWII, the average lifespan of a B-24 was 20 missions. After Bodacious survived 20 missions, the army added 5 more, and then 5 more, and 5 more. In 6 months, Rudy logged more than 200 hours of combat air time, and Bodacious bombed 33 cities. On the day of the 34th mission, my grandfather was sick and stayed behind. The other nine men of Bodacious are still on mission 34. #memorialday
Here’s what has to be one of the only short sleeved v neck sweaters ever made, in some kind of pink no less, modeled by my father the drug dealer circa 1985. #tbt
