LA PAZ ๐Ÿ” The highest capital city in the world at an elevation of roughly 3650m above sea level and the stunning Mount Illimani as its backdrop, the second highest peak in Bolivia. Itโ€™s overwhelming to see the density of housing in the capital. What do you think of the shot taken at twilight? ๐ŸŒƒ

BLOOD OF THE GODS ๐Ÿ”ฅ The colors of Laguna Colorada in Bolivia stand out immediately upon seeing it. Red algae and other microorganisms give the water its fantastic coloring. Combined with the mountains, volcanoes and flamingos, Laguna Colorada is an immaculate and beautiful wildlife wonder. What do you think?

GHOST TRAIN ๐ŸŒŒ Rusting with the salty wind and the harsh sunlight of the desert, this train cemetery in Uyuni saw better days in the late 1800s when minerals were transported to Chile from here. A bizarre scenery lost in time and consumed by the altiplano. On my last night I went out to photograph it with the Milky Way. What do you think?

TURQUOISE-BROWED MOTMOT ๐Ÿ˜ A spectacular bird that seems to be hand painted and perfectly designed by nature. It is the national bird of El Salvador (lucky them!). This one in particular was very calm and I was able to get close to it to photograph it in great detail. Taken in Orotina, Costa Rica ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š What do you think? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป๐Ÿค

E A R T H L Y F I R E S ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป One of the most sublime and overwhelming experiences Iโ€™ve had in life, is witnessing the power of an active and constantly erupting volcano. The thrill and raw beauty of it all. This is why I keep coming back to Guatemala. Today I want to show you the sequence of two powerful eruptions that I was able to shoot during a workshop I was teaching in the area. Please let me know what you think ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŒ‹

PORTRAITS FOR THE KING. This is one of the most spectacular birds of Costa Rica. It has a mind blowing sci-fi looking design. With the power to intimidate other vultures around and open any carcass with its beak. Itโ€™s found in Central and South America though sometimes itโ€™s very hard to see up close. Boca Tapada in the northern Caribbean region of Costa Rica is one of the best places to see the King Vulture in its natural environment.
