This morning at 9:30am I had to say goodbye to my best friend. Chester Hamilton and I spent the most adventurous 4 years together. He’s the most amazing baby in the world! He brought so much joy to everyone who met him. He’s so sweet, loving and kind. He use to stay up with me all night while I worked on @guise_etiquette We use to fill bottles and label orders together. He was a well traveled hog. We took road trips to New Mexico, Vegas and even weekend trips to Santa Barbara. He was the cutest, most grumpy little guy. We use to spend hours watching Netflix together before @andrew_messersmith came along. But once Andrew came into the picture, we became a happy family. Chester Hamilton will always have a very special place in my heart. Please help me celebrate his life! Comment below and tell me your best moments or memories with Chester Hamilton, the hog. 🦔 Thank you auntie @june.suepunpuck for being with us all night and bringing me to the hospital.
Another #tbt because your girl is too busy to create content this month. @andrew_messersmith has been my real life hero. I’ve been doing a lot of inner work the past few months. Each day seems longer than the last. But I’m emerging with new perceptions and ideas! A true blessing, if you ask me. Though it’s been super tough at times, I’m grateful and blessed to have Andrew by my side. I just pour all of my emotional thoughts, feelings and teachings all over him. Thanks for being my best friend + life partner. You are my moon and stars ✨ And Chester’s papa!
When I started Lunula Nails & Wellness, I wanted to create a relaxing environment. A temple for our body. I created the 7 Chakra oils to pair with our clear crystal wand massages. These Ayurvedic oil blends has a unique healing power. Each scent can help align the energy of your chakra. Lately, I’ve been thinking about recreating these beauties and selling them. Any thoughts? Let me know in the comment below and I’ll send you a free bottle when I make them again!
Just a #tbt ☀️ on this sunny afternoon

Guys I’m almost at 15k!!! Thank you thank you!! To celebrate, I’m hosting a giveaway with my favorite CBD skincare brand. The rules to enter the giveaway: 1: You must first follow @trangadatrinh @superfluidskin 2: Comment and tag 3 friends on @trangadatrinh giveaway photo. For multiple entries- just tag 3 NEW FRIENDS! 3. Must live in the US.
One of my favorite things to do in life is to give myself a foot massage with these clear quartz wand. It was my go-to when I had Lunula. In TCM, we get acupressure massages done to realign our energy level. I’ve found that by combining it with the clear quartz wand it helps my clear up any negative energies and remove blockages from my feet. Have you tried it? It feels amazing!
Never too late for the #californiapoppies post! It only took us 2 hours to get there, 45 mins to look for parking and another 30 mins to take this shot! Thanks for taking me @andrew_messersmith love you the most 🤪❤️🤷🏻♀️
I’ve been busy working on a secret project and all the stars are aligning. The universe listens to us..
I’ve been using these two products as part of my night time regime and it’s been improving my skin texture. If you want to try it out, click the link in my bio for 25% off your first order. Thanks again @naturallywoww for sending me these wonderful products.
And now who I want to be ☀️ Last year, I ran into some health issues because of stress and not taking proper care of myself. It forced me to sit and listen to my body. I made a dramatic change to my lifestyle. I paid attention to the foods that I ate, the stuff I put on my body, meditation, working out and cutting out negative people. Teaching and forcing myself to pay attention to the power of the NOW and not think too much of the future. . . . I now wake up every morning feeling so happy and alive! What will I do with all this new energy? Don’t worry, I’m still working + developing products for @guise_etiquette and doing makeup on the daily. But I do want to help other business-owners and creatives take better care of themselves. We are the people that often neglect our own needs and putting our energy elsewhere. The truth is being happy and healthy is the only way to success. So give yourself a hug today!
Who I am now...... (continued from last post) This morning, I looked into the mirror and saw this happy girl. Happy “32nd birthday” I said to her. She smiled back and said Ada, thank you and I love you. I’ve struggled with identity and self worth my whole life. I’ve always been competitive with myself. But not anymore. After selling the salon and going on a mental hiatus, I’ve truly found my inner peace. Something I needed to do so long ago but ignored because I felt vulnerability will slow me down. However, stillness and silence taught me that I am exactly where I need to be. . . . I am not defined by how many businesses I start or how many clients I acquire. I am not defined by how much money I have in the bank or where I live. I am not defined by the amount of success I create. . . . I am defined by my character. I am defined by the amount of self love + self worth I give myself everyday. I am defined by the foods I put in my body. I am defined by how much respect I give myself and knowing when to walk away. I am defined by the decisions I make everyday, to be happy and healthy. . . . I am currently living the life I’ve always dreamed of because I freed myself from false ideologies. This is my 32nd birthday gift from The Universe. Ps. This was taken at Lunula by my good friend @okjanice_
The post was inspired by my friend @benita_robledo I read her post awhile back and it resonated with me, it helped me reflect on my personal journey. So thanks for that, Benita ❤️✌🏽 I want to start Feb/ Lunar New Year off by introducing myself to my new + old followers alike. Who I was. Who I am. And who I want to be. . . Who I was I grew up in South Boston during the 90’s. My family was one of the 1st Asian families to live in the SB projects so life wasn’t easy growing up. My dad left us when I was 9 so my mother became a single parent. She worked multiple jobs to keep our family afloat. I barely spent any time with her, my little sister and I basically raised ourselves. I started working at the age of 12, stuffing envelopes at a factory. I’ve always been a hard worker because I want to help contribute to my family. I didn’t graduate from high school or college because well, I didn’t have time. Money was time and time was money. Before moving to LA, I was a nail tech for most of my early 20’s. I can clearly remember the day that changed my life. I was sitting at California Nails & Spa looking out the window, it was snowing and we didn’t have any clients. I sat around all day and ended up with 1-2 clients or about ($50) by the end of the night. It was then that I realized, there’s gotta be another life for me out there and I have to go search for it. That was about 2011. A year later, in 2012, I took a leap and move to LA. My best friend @crystally31 threw an epic go away party for me. Thanks babe! Who I am.. coming up on the next post!

6 months ago I couldn’t even wake up in the morning without feeling sick or having joint pain. Today, I woke up feeling really good. I no longer have morning sickness, joint pain, depression, anxiety, insomnia, constant bloating and the list goes on. The important thing is I don’t feel that way anymore. I feel healthy and happy. I know I’ve got a long way to go because healing doesn’t happen overnight. But I’m grateful that I’m making so much progress. During my healing journey, I’ve learned so much about how changing our relationship with food changes our relationship with our body. When I was a serial entrepreneur and running 2 businesses at the same time, I didn’t have the best relationship with food. Every time I had to eat, I was upset. I thought that food was slowing me down that having to stop for food in between meetings was lame. So I opt to eating fast food or picked up a quick snack. I would go for days eating 1-2 meals. I didn’t sleep. I wasn’t meditating. I didn’t exercise. I was treating my body so poorly. As a result, my body broke down. She wasn’t gonna let me go on like this forever. One day, I woke up and I couldn’t feel my legs and my hair was falling out in clumps. I felt super sick and that was when I knew my body was giving up on me. For months, doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Hormonal imbalance, hypothyroidism, celiac disease, food allergies. It was non of those! At the end, it was simple. Changing my lifestyle and eating better. That was all I needed! This is a reminder to love yourself. Your dreams and goals aren’t going anywhere. It needs a strong and healthy leader like you to take them places. So love yourself. Make better decisions because when you’re healthy you’re able to make better choices. Remember that you come first. Nobody or nothing else does! Give yourself a hug or two today. . .-the universe
They say, you are made up of the 5 people you surround yourself with everyday. That’s a pretty bold statement. But it’s so true in many ways. Here’s a photo of me and my best friend/sister June Suepunpuck styling me for Lunula’s press release last year. June and I met on set many years ago. Our first conversation consisted of her telling me that I needed to rid myself of toxic people in my life. Over the years, I became her makeup artist for her wedding, she watched me thrive/fail and I watched her grow. She started @soma_and_ulte with Connie and even when her life was going bananas she never gave up. She never missed a post or skip a beat. Her ambition for life is so contagious. . . June, thank you for being the bright light that you are. Being your friend and being able to be by your side during your growth has brought me so much joy. I’m so proud of all that you are and all that you are becoming. Reclaiming your time, sista.
I love starting my mornings with @mazzhannabeauty I’ve been using this cuticle oil for a couple months now and it’s so nourishing. Candida damaged my pinky nail last month and this oil has been helping it heal! Check out the progress in my story!
Just a cute #hedgehog on a Saturday morning 🦔🥰 my baby Chester Hamilton
I’ve been trying these babes out for the past month and here are my thoughts! Argan- Great for acne prone skin. Because if it’s vitamin E and fatty acid, I’ve been using it during my period when I broke out. Combining the argan oil with CBD really helps control inflammation and reduces acne. My go to for that time of the month! . Rosehip- Great for night time use. Rosehip is high in vitamin A and fatty acids which helps with skin regeneration. I use a few drops of it with my night creme. I really feel a difference when I wake up in the morning. My face is super soft and radiant. . Squalane- It’s great for all skin types. Squalane has anti-aging properties and anti inflammatory properties so that’s why it’s my go to “daily” oil. After the shower, I use a few drops to massage my face with a crystal roller then I’ll apply moisturizer. Happy to report that I haven’t use any tinted moisturizer in the last week because my skin has gotten so much better. I didn’t take a before and after this time. But I will def keep in mind for next to show y’all the difference! . Thank you for sending these my way @superfluidskin
Good morning. No makeup. Skincare only. 🌿 Already trying out goodies from yesterday’s @indiebeautyexpo can’t wait to share my thoughts! I met soooo many incredibly talented founders and entrepreneurs. I woke up today with a tremendous amount of inspiration. Thank you for having me! More product photos to come 🥰
When I started Guise Etiquette, I was a broke makeup artist mixing oils out of my bedroom. Over the years, I’ve learned so many valuable lessons. Business isn’t always about winning. It’s about learning. Learning how to become a better leader. A better listener. As I’m preparing for our nationwide launch, an Amazon store launch and new partnerships I want to thank all of my family and friends for your support over the years. I honestly couldn’t have done it without you guys.
Feeling my inner Bostonian spirit today! Chester and I #flashbackfriday
