When you drop a new video (link in bio!) the same day you drop the @seek.discomfort bestsellers of 2019 🔥 The drop is live for only 72 hours at www.seekdiscomfort.com. It’s a great day!!! 🙌🎉 📸 @visionsofele
Waow. Can’t believe it’s been 50 years and @mattdajer is still running Ironmans. So inspiring.
We’re so blessed to be able to travel the world and get to bring new friends along with us. It never gets old. Everywhere we go we make sure to put away the camera for at least a day and enjoy our surroundings. The first and most essential rule is: it has to be fun. Hope you liked today’s episode where we took our pizza delivery guy and new friend ( @ogjayp) to his dream location. This is a shot he took. He’s a really freaking talented photographer and is hustling daily to make his dream come true. You should check him out :) link to the video in bio! ❤️
Four years ago today, we began Project 30 and what would ultimately become Yes Theory. We had all just met. We had no money and no home. Just one big wild dream to show ourselves, and the world, what was possible. But none of this. None of anything that has happened since then would have been possible without community. If it weren’t for friends like @andrealitmus who gave us a home to live and work out of for free or @thelauragriffiths who was our first team coach and therapist, or the countless beautiful strangers who said yes, or the endless support and sharing of our videos from friends, or the belief from our first ever sponsors @ttmsmith and @kvnyp NONE of this would have been possible. Community is the reason we get to do what we love every single day and it’s our mission to pay that forward. To support someone’s dream is the greatest gift you can give them. We are beyond blessed now to have a community of millions around the world that supports and encourages each other to chase after those dreams, to seek discomfort, to be vulnerable, to live their truth. We know firsthand how valuable that is. When you feel like the whole world is stacked against you, all it takes is one spark, one ‘you got this’ or ‘how can I help’ to keep that flame alive. We trust that you will be that spark for each other. Love you always and forever. ❤️

Off to our biggest adventure to date with the most badass team. #stacked
After 6+ months of training, @mattdajer competed and finished his first ever Ironman this past weekend. That’s a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride, and a marathon 26.22-mile (42.20 km) run. Seems like pure insanity to most of us. This is a photo from right after he finished. And it is the epitome of everything Yes Theory stands for. It’s pursuance of a dream despite whatever adversities, obstacles, fears, or limitations stand in your way. What you don’t see in this picture are the early morning runs, the 6+ hour solitary bike rides, the boring salads he ate, or the festivals he missed. You don’t see how a guy went from struggling through his first half-Ironman to crushing his second. And then again how that same guy showed up in Santa Rosa and completed a sub-12 hour race (un-freaking-believable). Today, let Matt be your inspiration. Start pursuing that goal that you think is way too far outside your reach. Sign up for a local triathlon. Write the first page of your book. Commit to an Improv class. Do something that your future self will thank you for. Just start. Our collective potential is so much higher than we think it is. We can push our bodies and minds much further than we think we can. But, as Matt’s shown us, it takes an insane dedication to reach those heights… PS - Video coming soon.
The question isn’t, “Can you become fearless?” But can you act in the face of fear? Can you find calm in the chaos? Can you show up when it’s hard? And can you do it with compassion and courage?
Warning: When choosing to wear Seek Discomfort, you are agreeing to live bolder, connect deeper, and be asked, “Yo, where’d you get that shirt?” over and over again. . Season 8 is now live. Get it while it’s hot! Only available until 10 am PST on Monday, April 29th. (📸: @jaredrezak & @matasvibes )
We’ve all heard Coachella called the “Influencer Olympics”—a place where people go to flex their fancy whips and bedazzled outfits. . But our first experience at Coachella was nothing of the sort. . It was all about good music, good friends, and good vibes. . See, we’ve been tricked into believing that the big events are all we have to look forward to in life. But the good stuff happens in the small moments—like this one. When you’re just hanging with your friends, savoring the moment you’re in. No matter where you are or what you’re doing. . We’ve always felt that we won the friendship lottery in finding each other. From the early days when we were tired and broke in Montreal to this past weekend watching some of the world’s best musicians take the stage, that’s what’s always mattered most—us just experiencing it together. . Tag a friend below that always makes you feel like you won the friendship lottery, a person who can make any experience just a bit brighter.
As kids we’re often asked what we want to be when we grow up. As time goes on, we forget those dreams. So we took a note from @ShazamMovie and decided to make a young girl’s dream come true...on the spot. #WBSponsored With #Shazam’s youthful spirit in mind, we decided to help make a 9-year-old’s dream job come true. Go check out the full video through the link in our bio. Don’t miss @ShazamMovie only in theaters April 5!
Hey fam, There’s a bunch of things happening in our lives right now and we just want to give you a quick update since we haven’t been posting on YouTube as much. We’re launching a podcast, building a new home for Yes Theory, writing a book, planning our next documentary, hiring new team members and switching from Final Cut Pro to Premiere 😂 All of that is requiring us to take a step back to set new structures for Yes Theory. This is a lifetime project for us and we want to make sure the foundation is set for this next phase. Thanks per usual for being patient with us. We’ll be back to posting videos more consistently soon. We love you all and can’t wait to continue this journey together ❤️ In the meantime here’s a question: What’s the biggest bucket list item you’re planning on crossing off this summer? Just put it out there.. you never know what could happen 😉 (📸: @theflashtruck )
Yesterday we got to spend the day with @stefanostsitsipas98 who is as funny and humble as he is a badass at tennis, aka #10 in the world at 20 years old 😮 This is a photo of us after dinner. You never truly know who watches, reads, or listens to your content. So don’t be afraid to put it out there. Thank you for supporting what we do brother and never forget that we and the whole Yes Fam got your back. What an honor to have you be a part of this community.. one day we’ll fill a stadium for you⚡️🙌 For whoever is still reading this, you should go introduce yourself to him on his most recent instagram post. He’s a legend.
Our first documentary is OUT NOW! We weren’t expecting to make a documentary when we first met @iceman_hof. But he somehow knew. And he was right. We had no idea at the time that we were going to be his guinea pigs in showing how much a human being can truly withstand with just the power of the mind. Link in bio. Enjoy :)
When you can’t keep a straight face for a thumbnail (swipe right 😂). What should we do next with a subscriber??
-20° C ( -4° F) Started the year off in the cold mountains of Poland doing the most extreme thing we’ve ever done. We arrived back in LA yesterday, and right now we’re on a flight headed to Tokyo to be a part of something truly legendary. We want you to be a part of it. We‘re unable to mention the details but basically we’re bringing the Yes Fam around the world to participate in an art installation at one of the most respected museums in the world. How many people can say that they’ve been a part of an art piece at a world class museum? Exactly!!! Not a lot. What we want you to do is quite simple: Organize/ show up to a meet up in your city with yes fam members, stand in a circle holding hands then send us a video of it (the more creative the better -drone shots would be epic—this will be a part of a Yes Theory episode)... We can’t wait to share with you all the adventures but most importantly have you be a part of it. (Check out our IG story). First video of 2019 dropping on Jan 20th. Comment below what city you’re from and start connecting with people near you. Send your footage to be a part of the epic montage in the episode before January 18th: firstname.lastname@example.org
This is our manager Zack aka @zack.thecreator. Every single day we wake up bewildered as to how we convinced him to be on our team. Zack was an Iranian refugee who moved to Canada with his mom at the age of 4. Through a tough upbringing and non stop hard work, he built himself to be a business genius while maintaining his kind heart. We met him two years ago through our friend @vimota while he was working as Head of Streetwear at Shopify and after a year of trying to convince him to work with us, he agreed. You only see him once in a while in our episodes, but you better believe that behind the scenes he’s connecting all of the dots. Zack has no idea we are making this post. So go follow, support him and send him our love :)
This was a “holy shit” year for us. From day one the purpose of Yes Theory was to build a community that was open to adventure, taking risks, chasing passions, meeting like-minded people and giving back as much as possible along the way. It’s wild to see what it’s now become. Thank you to every single one of you for being a part of this group. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. We just uploaded a video recapping this whole crazy year so click the link in bio and see what you’ve helped create. Love you all.
Just celebrated 3 million subscribers with the team. Every time we reach a big milestone we have a celebration planned. This time, @zack.thecreator took us to @nobumalibu. This is how we rolled up. We asked the valet guy to take this photo. He was very confused. Shout outs to @waivecar for the whip 👌
When billionaire investor @kevinolearytv (aka Mr. Wonderful) says he wants you to drive him to the set of Shark Tank, say yes. Kevin is an investor in @waivecar the free electric car sharing program we’ve been using to get around LA for two years, and they connected us with him. Tomorrow, we’re dropping an instagram video where Thomas asks him what it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur. He gave awesome advice. PS - he may be a shark on TV but he’s actually super nice in person 👍
“I followed @chrisfarro on Instagram when I was at university and remember dreaming of visiting some of the places he would post these @gopro selfies from. He was someone who inspired me to seek adventure and try new sports that were way out of my comfort zone. And now, 4 years later, I somehow found myself on an adventure with him in Hawaii after we convinced an entire family to drop their travel plans at the airport and join us on a very spontaneous trip.” -Ammar This episode idea was suggested in a comment on one of our videos, so suggest something for us to do in the comments and who knows, maybe we’ll pick your idea to be a Yes Theory episode.
We’re no longer waiting 3 years to take a break. Today, we’re off on a 3-day getaway. No video this Sunday but we’ll be back the week after that 👍 Can you guess where we’re goin? 😉 📸 @matasvibes
From a random email sent to us by a subscriber...to this. In just two days. What a freaking adventure. Shout out to @fortyninth.parallel and @d.aveb for making this a night to remember. Link to the video is in the bio 🤘
So much stress before the jump...it was that very familiar gut wrenching anxiety before throwing ourselves into the unknown. What’s something you’ve done recently that made you terribly nervous, but was so worth it? 📸: @samirchaudry
The jump is 2 days away. @ammar is the one representing Yes Theory in it. So, a few days ago he decided to take @mattdajer and @thomasbrag on the most dangerous helicopter ride in the world. A ride that only a handful of people have ever done. Click the link in bio to find out what that is!! And a special thank you to our pilot @aaronfitzgerald105 for letting us experience this insanity! Go check out the episode on our YouTube channel right now 🚁 📸: @andreeashem
In less than 24 hours of launching the challenge, over 25,000 people pledged to run 1 mile with us today. 😳 That’s enough distance to run one full circle around the globe 🌏. The power that this community holds absolutely blows us away and makes us so freaking excited about the future. Get out today and do your 1 mile ☝🏼What city will you be doing it from? #WhatsYourJump #YesTheoryRunsTheWorld @seek.discomfort 📸: @jaymoxias
I promise that one day we’ll be in awe that this guy was hanging out in our backyard. It’s been the pleasure of our lives seeing our brother @grandson blow up over the past year.
What was supposed to be a 4 hour roadtrip with 2 subscribers turned into a 3-day Odyssey and a lifelong friendship. Marteen and Eric, thank you for saying yes to this crazy adventure across Europe. And for those of you reading this, we are beyond excited to involve you all more in the Yes Theory experience (more info on that soon). In the meantime, what's something you said yes to for the first time this summer?
Back home after 3 months away and IT FEELS SO GOOD! 🙌 🎉 🎉🎉🎉
This is one unforgettable moment for us. 🙏🏻⚡️ It was the day after our meeting with @willsmith in Budapest and we hadn't told anyone what went down... some of you started tweeting at us screenshots from Will's most recent video wearing a @seek.discomfort hat... people started questioning how it got to him 😂 We literally started hugging each other and dancing in the middle of our hotel room from excitement. 💃🏽 This clothing line exists to amplify our message to people outsude of YouTube and help start a conversation ..so it meant the world to us seeing Will rock @seek.discomfort and you all sharing stories about interactions you've had with complete strangers who get curious about what "Seek Discomfort" means!🌟 Do yourself a favor and go check out www.seekdiscomfort.com because we're only live for the next 72 hours. This drop is only exclusive to our Instagram community.😉
It’s happening. September 25th, 2018. @willsmith will be bungee jumping out of a helicopter with us on his 50th birthday. Over the freaking Grand Canyon. Live on @youtube . And, a few days after it happens, something else will catch your attention. And you’ll move on. But here’s why we want you to remember this event, this picture and this story. Here’s why it’s important for you. Because the jump isn’t the significant part. It’s what it represents. For all of us. It represents a choice. One we all have to make. A daily decision… Love or fear. Discomfort or comfort. Speaking the truth or staying quiet. See, Will is terrified of heights. He’s gonna be 50. He’s got a family he loves. He’s got one of the most successful careers in the history of entertainment. And yet, he’s agreed to a stunt that’s only been done a handful of times. He’s got all of the excuses in the world. He could easily have ignored our challenge. But this, like so many other times in his life, is his choice to fight that voice inside his head. That reminds him why he can’t. That throws excuses at him. That says he’s got too much to lose. This is a f*** you to that voice. It’s a choice. And the choice is yours as well. We want this stunt to be a reminder for you to make that decision. To take the leap while looking fear directly in the face. As Will once said, “I'm motivated by fear. Fear of fear. I hate being scared to do something. And I think what developed in my early days was the attitude that I started attacking things that I was scared of.” Let’s do this. PS - the video is up on YouTube
Celebrating 3 years of friendship, love and hard work. Grateful for everyone who believes and shares our message. There’s 2,000,000 of us now. 🎉💙 🔥 #SeekDiscomfort 📸: @livetothemax p.s: go to an outdoor thermal bath if you're ever in Budapest
None of the people in these photos are actual models. They're part of the amazing community that we've been so blessed to be a part of over the last three years. It makes us thrilled to see thousands of you repping everything we stand for through our clothing line @seek.discomfort. The amount of experiences we've had talking to complete strangers who approach us in public after they become curious about what "Seek Discomfort" is, blows our minds. We're stoked for people to start going up to each other to connect just because they see that they're rocking the brand. Please comment below your order number and tag 2 friends because we'd love to pick a few of you and send you something special. The second drop is only available for the next 22 hours. So act fast ⚡️⚡️⚡️📸: @zoefortuna
Budapest you da best. ❤️
Blown. Away. We thought there would be 5 people showing up to the meetup in Budapest today. More than 100 of you incredible, beautiful, kind people did. And some - those of you in this picture - even stayed over three freaking hours. You remind us why we do this. To feel connected, to go after our dreams and expose our truths together. Thank you. From the bottom of our jet lagged hearts, thank you. ❤️
Trying to act cool yet bugging out internally, minutes prior to giving a speech in front of a lot of people who had no idea who we were. 📸: @anitazvonarphotography PS - this was 2 months ago :)
This weekend was wild. Some of you came to our house to help Ammar fulfill our merchandise. Others met up with each other in Paris and in Italy… It feels more and more surreal to see all of these interactions happen in person. Witnessing how you all engage with us and each other reminds us of a quote by Mia Sheridan, “Friends are the family you get to choose for yourself.” And we’re so damn happy you chose this family. We were just a few guys wanting to experience more from life and you’ve all made it way more fun and way bigger than we could have ever imagined. So thank you. Thank you for believing in us. And you best believe we believe in you. Whole-fucking-heartedly. Let the adventure continue. Love always and forever. -The boys
DERIN CAME BACK! (For one episode..) To catch up on the time spent apart we made him say yes to everything for 24 hours... New video up on YouTube now and if you want to keep up with Derin follow him here @bobbyderin Love you Derin ❤️
First time in ages it’s been just us, no filming, in nature. Found this gem of a restaurant for sunset overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Feels great to breathe, recharge and count these blessings 🙌
We did it. @seek.discomfort is finally out and we launched it in the most epic fashion show to ever hit a backyard. Can't wait to see the #YesFam around the world repping the movement.
What would you do if you had 1 day to plan your last 24 hours? @thomasbrag had to do exactly that. Checkout the latest video on YouTube to see what he did !
@kalilyzette is 4 years cancer free TODAY. She’s been watching our videos for some time so we flew her out and gave her a true Yes Theory day. Shout out to @robin.at.tam for being the #1 freaking helicopter pilot in LA and taking us on the most insane ride on last second notice. Go follow that man if you wanna see crazy shots of this city. And go follow Kali cuz she’s a rockstar, an inspiration and our new best friend. Can’t wait to release this episode!!
In less than 24 hours, Yes Table became the highest reviewed restaurant in LA with more than 8,000 5 star reviews on Google maps. If you don't know what we're talking about then head to our YouTube channel and watch our most recent episode. What should we turn our backyard/ house into next? 📸 @andrewbmac
This is a birthday for the books. From a cold email by @ammarxz to meeting the dude that literally changed my life and inspired me to not only get into the entertainment business but to put integrity, love and honesty before anything else. Thank you @scooterbraun for showing us what is possible and for taking time out of your day to make this my best birthday yet. -Matt
